The Los Angeles(AL) Angels edged the Oakland A's in 10 innings at McAfee
Coliseum by the score of 6 to 5.

The game was deadlocked at 5 after nine full innings. Los Angeles(AL) was
victorious in the 10th inning. Casey Kotchman cracked a solo homerun (his
6th of the season). Although they lost, Oakland did out-hit Los Angeles(AL)
11 to 6.

Kevin Gregg(1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 inning and allowing no
runs. Francisco Rodriguez earned his 8th save. Huston Street(1-1) suffered
the loss in relief.

The winning ways continue for Los Angeles(AL). They now have a record of 9-1
in recent days. With the loss, the Oakland ballclub's record is 13-10.
