Mark Teahen had 2 base hits at Metrodome where the Kansas City Royals beat the
Minnesota Twins 4 to 1.

Kansas City tallied 3 runs in the top of the 4th inning with the help of 3
hits. Emil Brown opened up the inning nicely when he delivered a one-base
hit. After an out was recorded, Teahen came to the plate and doubled
resulting in a run. John Buck then lifted one out of the park for a two run
home run (his 3rd of the season). For the game Kansas City out-hit Minnesota
8 to 5.

J.P. Howell(2-1) went 6 and 2/3 innings allowing 1 run for the win. Howell was
helped out by Mike Macdougal who recorded his 5th save. The losing pitcher
was Joe Mays(0-2).
