The Detroit Tigers edged the Minnesota Twins in 11 innings at Metrodome by the
score of 2 to 1.

The score was knotted at 1 after nine innings. Detroit won it in the 11th
inning. Nook Logan stroked a one-base hit. Omar Infante came next and he
laid down a sacrifice bunt. Brandon Inge then doubled scoring the run.
Minnesota went down without a fight in the bottom of the 11th.

Fernando Rodney(1-1) was the winner allowing no runs in 2 innings. Troy
Percival earned the save, his 3rd. Matt Guerrier(0-2) was charged with the
loss in relief.
