Justin Morneau hit one over the fence and scored 3 times as the Minnesota
Twins outscored the Kansas City Royals 7 to 2.

Minnesota tallied 3 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning when they had 3 base
hits. The highlight belonged to Juan Castro who brought the crowd to their
feet when he laced a single which was good for two runs. Minnesota ended up
with 12 hits for the game while Kansas City had 5.

Johan Santana(3-3) went 7 innings allowing 2 runs for the victory. Runelvys
Hernandez(1-3) suffered the loss. He gave up 6 runs in 4 and 1/3 innings of
work.
