Third baseman Alex Rodriguez cracked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the New York

up winning it in the 10th inning. Robinson Cano led off and started the
attack as he slapped a base-hit. Rodriguez stepped up next and he bombed a
two-run dinger (his 12th of the season) making New York (AL) the winners and
sending the 52,475 fans home happy. New York (AL) won despite being out-hit
by Toronto 14 hits to 7.

Tom Gordon(1-1) picked up the victory, allowing 1 run in 1 inning. Jason
Frasor(0-2) was charged with the loss in relief. He allowed 2 hits and no
walks without retiring a batter.
