defeated the Oakland A's 4 to 3.

The deciding run was scored by Los Angeles(AL) in the 8th. Chone Figgins
tripled. After an out was recorded, Garret Anderson came up and he laced a
single scoring the run. Los Angeles(AL) had 7 hits for the night while
Oakland had 4.

The win went to Kelvim Escobar(3-1) who allowed no runs in 2 innings.
