The Baltimore Orioles cruised to a 11 to 6 victory over the Tampa Bay team at
Camden Yards.

In the bottom of the 2nd inning Baltimore scored 5 runs when they had 5 base
hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Eric Byrnes who made the
crowd happy when he lofted a three-run bomb (his 2nd of the season). B.J.
Ryan was perfect in the ninth giving him his 7th save on the season.

Rodrigo Lopez(4-4) got credit for the victory, pitching 6 innings and allowing
5 runs. Mark Hendrickson(0-5) suffered the loss. He was touched for 3
homeruns in his 3 innings of work.
