The Milwaukee Brewers pitchers essentially took the day off at Miller Park as
the Atlanta Braves offense erupted for 16 runs while Derek Lowe(1-0)with the
aid of the bullpen allowed Milwaukee 6 runs.

Garret Anderson had a big day at the plate. He quieted the crowd by clouting
a Grand Slam in the 2nd inning and delivered a one-base hit in the 4th
inning. Atlanta lit up the scoreboard in the 2nd inning when they had 8 runs
on 7 hits and the 9th inning scoring 4 runs. Atlanta and Milwaukee each
finished the afternoon with 18 hits.

Carlos Villanueva(0-1) was tagged with the loss. He surrendered 7 hits and 1
walk in 1 and 1/3 innings.
