7th inning and outscored the St. Louis Cardinals 10 to 7.

critical plate appearance was by Edwin Encarnacion who elicited a roar from
the hometown fans when he clubbed a three-run home run. St. Louis was
out-hit by Cincinnati, 15 hits to 12.
