Right fielder Brad Hawpe had 2 base hits and 2 RBI at Minute Maid Park as the
Colorado Rockies beat the Houston Astros 6 to 5.

Aaron Cook(2-1) gave a fine effort for Colorado. He allowed 6 hits and 1 walk
in 7 innings. Houston had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up
short.

Huston Street recorded the save, his 5th. The loss was charged to Mike
Hampton(0-3). He was knocked around by Colorado, allowing 10 hits and 5
walks in 5 and 1/3 innings.

Chris Centorcelli was clearly disappointed after the game. 'It was a
manager's nightmare out there', he said, 'We should have had this one.'
