34,327 fans watched an exciting game at PNC Park. The Houston Astros topped
the Pittsburgh Pirates by the slimmest of margins, 4 to 3.

Houston scored 3 runs in the top of the 5th inning when they had 5 base hits.
The big moment was provided by Michael Bourn who quieted the home crowd when
he doubled scoring two baserunners. Latroy Hawkins relieved and was
untouched by Pittsburgh as he recorded the save, his 1st.

Brian Moehler(2-3) got credit for the victory, pitching 7 innings and allowing
3 runs. Paul Maholm(1-2) absorbed the loss. He allowed 4 runs and 8 hits in
8 innings.
