Mike Cameron cracked a homer and had 3 RBI as the Milwaukee Brewers staged a
dramatic comeback over the Colorado Rockies by a score of 7 to 6 at Coors
Field.

Milwaukee came through with the game-winning runs in the top of the 9th inning
with 2 runs utilizing 2 base hits. After an out was recorded, Craig Counsell
got things rolling when he stroked a one-base hit. Cameron came next and he
bombed a two-run dinger. Jason Kendall dug into the batters box next, but he
struck out. Colorado was not lacking for run support as they scored in 5
separate innings, yet victory eluded them as they seemed to forget that
pitching is also needed to win ballgames.

The victory went to Mark Difelice(3-0) who went 1 inning, allowing no runs.
Todd Coffey got the save, his 2nd. Matt Daley(1-4) ended up with the loss in
relief. He surrendered 2 runs and 2 hits in 1 and 1/3 innings.

George Nasser was understandably not very talkative after his team's tough
loss. He quickly showered and changed and when asked about the game had a
terse, yet polite response, 'Hey fellows, that game was a heart-breaker to
lose. Our guys gave it their all and played well - fate just wasn't smilin'
on us this afternoon'
