Casey McGehee had 2 base hits at Turner Field as the Milwaukee Brewers won in
dramatic fashion coming back to beat the Atlanta Braves by the count of 5 to
4.

Milwaukee came through with the game-winning runs in the 9th inning scoring 3
runs using 2 hits. Rafael Soriano then tossed a pitch that the catcher
mis-handled. Two outs later Prince Fielder came up and he delivered a
single. Corey Hart then delivered a base-hit, and an error was also
committed. Rickie Weeks came up and he reached on an error. McGehee struck
out, unable to help the rally. Both teams finished the game with 11 hits.

The victory was credited to Chris Smith(1-2) who went 1/3 of an inning,
allowing no runs. Smith got help from Carlos Villanueva who earned his 1st
save. Soriano(0-1) was given the loss in relief. He was the victim of a
defensive lapse and did not allow an earned run in the game.

After the game, it took a long while before Bobby Cox emerged from his office.
In a subdued tone he answered only a couple of questions. He concluded
with, 'Fellows, sorry I'm not in a very talkative mood this afternoon, as I
think you'll understand. I'm sure you'll find the banter a lot more
light-hearted over in the Milwaukee locker room.'
