Indians topped the Chicago (AL) Whitesox by the slimmest of margins, 2 to
1.

In the top of the 3rd inning Cleveland went on top for good plating an
isolated run. Both teams ended up with 5 hits on the afternoon.

Jensen Lewis(2-0) went 2 and 2/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory.
Chris Perez recorded the save, his 5th. Jake Peavy(0-2) absorbed the loss.
He allowed just 2 runs and 3 hits in 6 innings.
