C.J. Wilson went 7 strong innings as the Texas Rangers defeated the Los
Angeles(AL) Angels 4 to 2 at Rangers Ballpark.

Texas jumped out to the early lead in the first inning scoring a single run
utilizing 2 base hits. Los Angeles(AL) threatened in the 9th but Texas was
able to put down the rally.

The win was credited to Wilson(2-1) who went 7 innings allowing no runs. Joe
Saunders(1-3) was the loser. 'You have to give Los Angeles(AL) credit, they
fought us tough to the end' Chris Centorcelli said. 'It could have gone
either way, but I'm glad we pulled out the victory.'
