The hometown crowd was rewarded with a dramatic ending, as the Oakland A's
staged a comeback win over the New York (AL) Yankees by the count of 4 to
3.

Oakland had the winning rally in the bottom of the 9th inning plating 2 runs
using 2 hits. Rajai Davis led off the inning for Oakland when he ripped a
base-knock which scored a run. Davis took off for second and slid in with a
stolen base scoring the final run of the inning. Oakland had a total of 8
hits for the game.

Vin Mazzaro(1-1) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings.
The losing pitcher was Mariano Rivera(0-1) in relief. He pitched 1/3 of an
inning and surrendered 2 hits and 3 walks.

'That was exciting!,' Ryan Sweeney said. 'I would have paid money to watch
this one.'
