Jacoby Ellsbury recorded 4 RBI with one swing when he ripped a grand slam and
Josh Beckett dominated striking out 11 Seattle batters at SAFECO Field where
the Boston Redsox beat the Seattle Mariners by the score of 11 to
2.

Ellsbury enjoyed a big day at the plate. He delivered a base-hit in the 1st
inning, caught a hold of a bad pitch for a Grand Slam homerun in the 5th
inning and smacked a single knocking in a run in the 5th inning. Boston
finished with 15 hits in the victory.

Beckett(5-1) allowed 2 runs on the game. Michael Pineda(2-3) took the loss.
He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 10 hits and 3 walks in 4
innings.

'Everything felt great' Beckett said. 'I had a good fastball, I felt I could
throw it by everybody today.'
