Danny Duffy completed the game without help from the bullpen and center
fielder Melky Cabrera lofted one into the 'cheap seats' and had 3 RBI at
Kauffman Stadium as the Kansas City Royals beat the Chicago (AL) Whitesox 9
to 1.
 
In the bottom of the 5th inning Kansas City went on top for good as they
scored 2 runs on 2 base hits.  The big moment was provided by Cabrera who
excited the crowd when he lifted one out of the park for a two run home run.
Kansas City banged out 13 hits on the afternoon.  
 
The win went to Duffy(3-0) who allowed 1 run in the game. Gavin Floyd(2-3)
took the loss.  He allowed 5 runs and 7 hits in 5 and 1/3 innings.
