Josh Willingham went yard and had 3 RBI at O.co Coliseum where the Oakland A's
beat the Detroit Tigers in 11 innings by the score of 3 to 2.
 
The score was knotted at 2 after nine innings.  Finally, Oakland pulled the
game out in the 11th inning.  Daric Barton drew a walk.  Jemile Weeks was
next to the plate, but was promptly struck out.  Coco Crisp then banged out a
single.  One out later, Willingham came to bat and laced a base-knock making
Oakland the winners and sending the 11,655 fans home happy.  The teams had
been locked in a scoreless duel until the 6th inning.  
 
The victory went to Fautino De Los Santos(1-1) who went 1/3 of an inning,
allowing no runs. The losing pitcher was Ryan Perry(0-1) in relief.  He
surrendered 2 hits and 1 walk in 1 inning.
