In a one-sided affiar at Target Field the final score was the Cleveland
Indians 9, the Minnesota Twins 3.
 
Minnesota was unable to climb back into it after Cleveland went ahead for good
in the 5th inning when they scored 3 runs on 4 hits.  For the game Cleveland
out-hit Minnesota 14 to 8.  
 
Joe Smith(4-0) went 1/3 of an inning allowing no runs for the win. Smith got
relief help from Rafael Perez who gained credit for his 1st save.  Nick
Blackburn(2-1) was the losing pitcher.  He allowed a few too many baserunners
giving up 9 hits and 3 walks in 5 and 1/3 innings.
