Travis Hafner had 4 hits and 4 RBI as the Cleveland Indians crushed the
Seattle Mariners 15 to 1.

Hafner enjoyed a big day at the plate. He popped a two-run clout over the
fence in the 1st inning, doubled in the 2nd inning, slapped a one-base hit in
the 7th inning and doubled plating a run in the 8th inning. Cleveland
provided plenty of action in the 8th inning when they had 4 runs on 5 hits.
The Cleveland offense man-handled the Seattle pitching staff as they scored
in 7 of the 9 innings.

The win went to Fausto Carmona(2-2) who allowed 1 run in 5 and 1/3 innings.
The losing pitcher was Blake Beavan(0-2). He surrended 3 homeruns in his 6
and 1/3 innings.

'It's almost like the ball was trying to hit my bat,' Hafner said. 'Whenever I
would swing, the ball found the sweet spot.'
