Carlos Santana rocketed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Comerica Park where the
Cleveland Indians beat the Detroit Tigers 7 to 3.
 
Santana had a big day against Detroit.  He hit a bases-empty home run in the
3rd inning and cracked a two-run shot in the 5th inning.  Cleveland had 9
hits for the afternoon while Detroit had 4.  
 
The win was credited to Vinnie Pestano(4-1) who went 2 innings allowing no
runs. Justin Verlander(4-3) took the loss.  He allowed 4 homeruns in 7
innings of work.
