Shortstop Erick Aybar hit a homerun and had 3 RBI as the sizzling Los
Angeles(AL) Angels beat the Texas Rangers by a score of 8 to 4.
 
Los Angeles(AL) scored 6 runs in the decisive 6th inning with the help of 5
hits.  The big moment was provided by Aybar who disappointed the partisan
crowd when he smacked a three-run homer.  Neither team was able to score
until the 6th inning.  
 
Jered Weaver(4-2) got the win allowing 4 runs in 7 innings. Matt Harrison(1-3)
was tagged with the loss.  He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 6
runs in 5 and 1/3 innings.
