Eric Hinske had 5 hits and 7 RBI at Rogers Centre where the Toronto Bluejays
beat the Boston Redsox 11 to 5.

Hinske enjoyed a great day at the plate. Every time he came up in the latter
innings, the crowd was on their feet cheering. He singled which plated a run
in the 2nd inning, banged out a single bringing in two baserunners in the 3rd
inning, lashed a one-base hit in the 5th inning, smashed a two-run homer (his
1st of the season) in the 6th inning and doubled plating two runs in the 8th
inning. Toronto out-hit Boston for the game, 17 hits to 12.

Josh Towers(3-0) allowed 2 runs in 5 innings, and picked up the victory. Wade
Miller(1-1) was the losing pitcher. He allowed a few too many baserunners
giving up 12 hits and 3 walks in 4 and 1/3 innings.

'It's just about getting in a good hitting position and just going out there
and being prepared,' Hinske said. 'You try to hit in your own capacity and
not do too much. I just try to have a good approach, day after day, game by
game, and pitch by pitch.'
