Hank Blalock blasted 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Texas Rangers beat the
struggling Seattle Mariners by a score of 12 to 4.

Blalock had a good day at the plate. He delivered a base-hit in the 2nd
inning, smashed a two-run homer in the 6th inning and ripped a solo home run
(his 3rd of the season) in the 8th inning. Texas had 14 hits overall, while
Seattle had 7.

Juan Dominguez(1-1) went 5 and 1/3 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory.
C.J. Wilson earned the save, his 2nd. Joel Pineiro(1-3) was given the loss.

With this win, Texas has a 7-7 record. They have been 7-3 lately. Mike
Hargrove was pretty down after the loss. 'We've really been sputtering along
lately, something like 2-8 in the last week or two. That won't get it done.'
