Brad Radke went 6 and two third strong innings at McAfee Coliseum as the
Minnesota Twins beat the Oakland A's in 11 innings 1 to 0.

The score was a scoreless tie after nine. Minnesota won it in the 11th
inning. After two outs Justin Morneau smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' (his
3rd of the season). The Oakland offense proved no trouble in the bottom of
the 11th.

Joe Nathan(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2 and 2/3 innings.
Jay Witasick(0-1) ended up with the loss in relief. He gave up 1 run and 3
hits in 1 and 2/3 innings.
