David Wells went the distance at Rogers Centre as the Boston Redsox beat the
Toronto Bluejays 6 to 1.

Wells(2-1) had a solid outing for Boston. He was reached for 9 hits and no
walks in 9 innings reducing his ERA from 4.95 to 3.72. The pitchers took
over after the 4th inning as neither team was able to score again.

Ted Lilly(1-3) took the loss. With this win, Boston has a 14-6 record. They
have been 6-4 lately. With the loss Toronto now has a record of 13-7.
