The New York (AL) Yankees came roaring back in the top of the ninth to spoil
the anticipated celebration of the hometown fans. The final score,, was 14
to 10.

New York (AL) had the winning rally in the top of the 9th inning when they
tallied 6 runs on 5 hits. The key at-bat was by Jorge Posada who helped
quiet the crowd when he cleared the bases with a Grand Slam homerun (his 3rd
of the season). A wild affair, this game saw the lead change 5 times.

The victory went to Felix Rodriguez(1-0) who went 1 and 2/3 innings, allowing
1 run. Danys Baez(1-1) took the loss in relief. He allowed 4 runs and 3 hits
