Right fielder Jermaine Dye smacked 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI as the Chicago
(AL) Whitesox beat the Toronto Bluejays in 11 innings by a score of 10 to
8.

The score was tied at 8 after nine. Chicago (AL) won it in the 11th inning.
After an out was recorded, Tadahito Iguchi was the sparkplug when he banged
out a single. One out later, Dye came up and he popped a two-run clout over
the fence (his 9th of the season). The Toronto batters went down meekly in
the bottom of the 11th.

Neal Cotts(2-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 innings and allowing no
runs. The loss was charged to Jason Frasor(0-1) in relief. By surrending 2
runs in 1 and 2/3 innings his ERA jumped from 4.22 to 5.11.

Chicago (AL) now has a record of 14-8. With this loss, Toronto has a 4-6
record of late, 14-10 overall.
