Jed Lowrie launched 2 homeruns and Jon Lester went the distance as the Boston
Redsox defeated the Toronto Bluejays by a score of 3 to 2 at Rogers
Centre.

Boston scored the deciding run in the 8th inning. After an out was recorded,
Lowrie lofted a solo-blast 'downtown'. The Toronto offense proved no trouble
in the bottom of the 9th.

Lester(5-3) finished the game allowing 2 runs in the victory. Jason
Frasor(1-1) was hit with the loss in relief. This win by Boston continues
their recent hot streak. In their last ten games, they have a record of 8-2.
For the season, they are a division leading 25-8. With the loss Toronto now
has a record of 10-16.
