Mike Napoli went yard and had 2 RBI and Jered Weaver struck out 10 batters as
the Los Angeles(AL) Angels topped the Houston Astros by a score of 10 to 2 at
Minute Maid Park.

Weaver(4-2) dominated Houston hitters. He didn't allow much, just 4 hits and
3 walks in 9 innings lowering his ERA to 3.26. Los Angeles(AL) banged out 15
hits on the afternoon.

Bud Norris(0-5) took the loss. He allowed a few too many baserunners giving
up 7 hits and 2 walks in 2 and 1/3 innings. Weaver didn't realize how many
strikeouts he was racking up. When told he had 10 he was obviously
surprised, 'No kidding? Man, I knew that I had a decent total, but I didn't
think I had K'd that many. Say, that's pretty good, isn't it?'
