In a game for the baseball purist, Brett Myers(3-2) and Ben Sheets(1-3)
squared off in a tense pitching duel, Houston Astros finally emerged
victorious over Oakland A's, 4 to 0.

Oakland lost it in the 6th inning when Houston did all their damage scoring 4
runners on 3 hits. The key at-bat was by Carlos Lee who disappointed the
partisan crowd when he smacked a three-run homer. Houston had just 4 hits
for the afternoon.

Wilton Lopez was credited with his 2nd save. With this win, Houston has a
10-20 record. They have been 3-7 lately. With the loss, Oakland has a
record of 5-5 lately, 8-12 overall.
