Carl Pavano delivered 7 solid innings and Delmon Young went yard and had 2 RBI
as the Minnesota Twins defeated the Chicago (AL) Whitesox by the score of 4
to 2 at US Cellular Field.

Minnesota tallied 2 runs in the top of the 6th inning. Justin Morneau led off
and he drew a walk. Michael Cuddyer stepped up next and he clubbed a two-run
home run. Jason Kubel then stroked a base-hit. Two outs later J.J. Hardy
was the next batter, but he struck out. Minnesota had 8 hits overall, while
Chicago (AL) had 3.

Pavano(3-2) went 7 innings allowing 2 runs for the win. Pavano was helped out
by Brian Fuentes who recorded his 4th save. The loss was charged to John
Danks(5-2).
