Right fielder Nelson Cruz had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the Texas Rangers outscored
the Houston Astros 7 to 5.

Cruz enjoyed a big day at the plate. He stroked a base-hit in the 2nd inning,
bombed a two-run dinger in the 3rd inning, laced a single in the 5th inning
and doubled plating a run in the 7th inning. Houston had a chance in the 9th
but they came up short.

Darren O'Day(2-0) got the win allowing 1 run in 2 innings. Neftali Feliz got
the save, his 4th. Bud Norris(0-6) was given the loss. He pitched 6 innings
allowing 7 hits and 4 walks.
