Rajai Davis had 2 base hits and 3 RBI as the Oakland A's defeated the
Cleveland Indians in 11 innings by the score of 4 to 3 at McAfee
Coliseum.

The score was knotted at 3 after nine innings. Finally, Oakland pulled the
game out in the 11th inning. Kurt Suzuki doubled. After an out was
recorded, Davis stepped in and he slapped a one-base hit resulting in an
exciting win for Oakland and a raucous post-game celebration by the home town
fans. Both teams ended up with 11 hits on the afternoon.

Mike Wuertz(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2 innings. Chris
Perez(2-1) was the loser in relief. He pitched 2/3 of an inning giving up 2
hits and no walks.
