At Camden Yards the Baltimore Orioles outscored the Kansas City Royals 5 to
2.

Baltimore scored 3 runs in the decisive bottom of the 3rd inning when they had
4 base hits. That early run support was all that Jeremy Guthrie(1-6)
required. Kansas City had 10 hits in the game while Baltimore had 7, but
Baltimore had the more timely hits.

Alfredo Simon got the save, his 3rd. Luke Hochevar(0-2) suffered the loss. He
pitched 5 and 1/3 innings giving up 7 hits and 1 walk.
