Designated hitter Vladimir Guerrero had 4 hits at McAfee Coliseum as the Texas
Rangers beat the Oakland A's 6 to 5.

Oakland was unable to climb back into it after Texas went ahead for good in
the 3rd inning scoring one runner on 2 base hits. Max Ramirez blasted a solo
shot. Ian Kinsler stepped into the batter's box and he doubled. Michael
Young followed, but he was set down on strikes. Neftali Feliz pitched a
perfect ninth and was credited with his 7th save.

Cliff Lee(5-0) went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing 5 runs for the victory. Dallas
Braden(1-3) absorbed the loss. 'I always am most impressed when a pitcher
finds a way to win even without his best stuff,' Chris Centorcelli said after
the game. 'Lee did not have command of his pitches most of the afternoon,
but he proved he really knew how to pitch!'
