Jo-Jo Reyes had an impressive outing and designated hitter Luke Scott
collected 4 RBI with one swing of the bat as the Baltimore Orioles defeated
the Texas Rangers 5 to 4 at Rangers Ballpark.

Baltimore jumped on top to stay in the 2nd inning scoring one runner using 2
hits. After an out was recorded, Jake Fox ripped a solo home run. One out
later, Nick Markakis came to the plate and slapped a one-base hit. Texas
threatened in the 9th but Baltimore was able to put down the rally.

The victory was credited to Reyes(1-0) who went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs.
Jim Johnson recorded the save, his 1st. The losing pitcher was Alexi
Ogando(1-1). He got hit hard, allowing 9 hits and 3 walks in 6 and 1/3
innings.

Chris Centorcelli was in a sour mood after the game. 'Even you guys up in the
press box know why we lost this game. We made too many mistakes.'
