Corey Patterson had 4 hits as the Toronto Bluejays defeated the Boston Redsox
by the score of 7 to 6 at Rogers Centre.

Boston was unable to claim the lead after Toronto went ahead in the bottom of
the 6th inning scoring 2 runners on 3 hits. Boston made it exciting in the
9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across.

The victory was credited to Casey Janssen(2-0) who went 2 innings, allowing no
runs. Frank Francisco recorded the save, his 2nd. Daniel Bard(0-4) was
charged with the loss in relief. While he was the losing pitcher, he still
struck out 5 batters in 2 innings.

'We didn't get the key hits when we needed them' Andy Virostek said. 'We did
what we could, we just didn't pull out the win. What can you say?'
