At Progressive Field, the Cleveland fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel.
John Danks(1-1) finally bested his Cleveland opposite, Carlos Carrasco(0-1),
by the score of 3 to 1.
 
Danks gave Chicago (AL) a solid outing.  He allowed 2 hits and 4 walks in 7
innings dropping his ERA from 4.76 to 3.44.  Cleveland threatened in the 9th
but Chicago (AL) was able to put down the rally.  
 
Sergio Santos gained credit for his 1st save.  The losing pitcher was
Carrasco.  The Chicago (AL) ballclub's record now stands at 5-8.  With this
loss, Cleveland has a 4-4 record of late, 4-4 overall.
