In a dramatic ending at Rogers Centre the Toronto Bluejays won in their last
at-bat beating the Boston Redsox by the count of 4 to 3.
 
The game was decided in the 9th inning.  Adam Lind reached on an error.  Jose
Molina was a strikeout victim, unable to help out.  John McDonald then laced
a one-base hit.  Rajai Davis was up next and he hit a deep fly making Toronto
the victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration.  Toronto had just 6
hits for the afternoon.  
 
Luis Perez(1-1) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2 and 1/3 innings.
Daniel Bard(0-3) suffered the loss in relief.  He was pinned with the loss
despite not allowing an earned run in his 2 and 2/3 innings of work.
