In a thrilling finish the Kansas City Royals won in dramatic fashion coming
back to beat the Toronto Bluejays by the count of 3 to 2.

Kansas City erupted with the game winning runs in the 9th inning scoring 2
runs on 2 hits. Eric Hosmer led off and he drew a walk. Jeff Francoeur
followed next and he lined a single. After an out was recorded, Salvador
Perez then banged out a single. Chris Getz stepped in and he hit a deep fly.
Both teams finished the game with 6 hits.

Aaron Crow(1-1) went 2/3 of an inning allowing no runs for the victory. Frank
Francisco(0-1) was the loser in relief. 'Now there is a lesson in
perseverance for you,' Getz noted. 'It was looking pretty dim there for a
while, but we just kept plugging away and it really paid off in spades! And
it was great to see the crowd go crazy there at the end!'
